FilesystemError1

MozyHome was unable to open or backup one or more files. (MozyHome cannot backup password-protected or encrypted files.)

To resolve this issue:

  1. Install the latest MozyHome client
  2. On the menu bar, click the MozyHome icon , then click Configure.
  3. Click on the Options tab, then check Support for backing up EFS encrypted files.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Remove any file passwords or encryption, or deselect all such files from the MozyHome backup list.
  6. Perform another backup.
  7. If the error persists, send the following information to technical support email address below:
    • Which Operating system are you using (such as Windows XP or MAC OS X)?
    • What version of MozyHome you are using (see Viewing the Client Version)?
    • What firewalls are enabled on your computer?
    • Are you using a router and does it have a firewall enabled?
    • What anti-virus or anti-spyware software are you running on your computer?
    • Which error code are you seeing (such as ConnectionError1)?
  8. If the error persists, email technical support (support@mozy.com) and attach your log files. See: Collecting Log Files.
