Windows:

To check on a current backup:

Right-click on the Mozy icon in the System Tray and select Status.

If the status window says Backup in Progress and offers you the option to pause the backup, then it is currently running and you can monitor its progress there.

If it has been on the same file for a long time, right-click the Mozy icon in the System tray, then select Settings > Enable Advanced View. If it shows a transfer rate in Status, it means it's still running and it's likely uploading a large file.

If the Status window says Files backed up xx hours ago and offers you the option to start the backup, then it is not running and you are welcome to click the button to start it.

To check previous backups:

Right-click on the Mozy icon in the System Tray and select History.

Mac:

If the Mozy icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen is fading in and out, then the backup is currently running.

You can click on that icon and view the first three grey lines to see what progress it is currently making, or what file it's in the process of sending. The drop-down menu will also offer you the option to stop/pause the backup.

If the icon is solid black and not pulsating, then the backup is not running. You can click on the icon and select Back Up Now to start it.

To check previous backups:

Click on the Mozy icon in the menu bar and select Open Mozy Preferences, then select History.
